Overnight French Toast

Ingredients

 1 Loaf french bread, sliced on an angle in one-inch slices
 8 Large eggs
 3 cups Milk, heavy cream, or half and half
 ½ cup Sugar
 ¾ tsp Salt
 1 tsp Vanilla
 2 tsp Butter

Directions

Grease baking dish with butter

Arrange bread in bottom of dish (one layer only)

Mix remaining ingredients except butter.

Pour over bread

Sprinkle with cinnamon

Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Before baking, dot with butter.

Uncover and bake at 350 for 45 minutes, until bread is puffed and light brown

Serve with warm syrup, sour or whipped cream, or fruit.
