Nutritious Poppin’ Fresh Bars

Ingredients

 1 ¼ cups Flour
 ½ tsp Baking soda
 ½ tsp Salt
 1 cup Brown sugar
 1 Egg
 ½ cup Margarine or butter
 1 tsp Vanilla
 1 cup Quick cooking oats
 ½ cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

In large bowl, combine all ingredients except oats, chocolate chips and nuts.

Beat at medium speed until well blended.

By hand stir in oats.

Press dough into greased 9 x 13 inch pan.

Sprinkle with chips and nuts.

Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes or until edges are golden. Center will be soft

Cool, loosen edges with spatula.

Cut into bars.
