Margarita’s Chili Cook-Off Recipe

This recipe is a Chili Cook-Off winner!

I don't have a set recipe, I sort of use equal amounts of beef (i.e. - a lb. of each) and green pepper/onions.

 Top Sirloin
 Ground Beef
 Yellow Onion
 Green Pepper
 Serrano Peppers
 1 Can dark Red Kidney Beans
 2 Cans stewed Potatoes
 Tomato Paste
 Spicy Chili Powder
 Chipotle Powder
 Garlic Powder
 Cumin Powder
 Salt
 Olive Oil

Cube top sirloin

Sear over medium-high heat with some olive oil.

Remove and cook the ground beef.

Add steak back into pot and the onions/peppers

Add spice seasoning and cook for a minute or so.

Add tomato paste and cook for another minute

Add stewed tomatoes (with liquid), the drain/rinsed beans, and enough water to cover.

Stir and cook for at least 2 hours.
