You can usually find the crab legs at Costco during the holidays. The crab legs are usually frozen. If so, thaw in a large colander or pot. You will need a HUGE pot (about 24 quart size) that has a colander that fits into it. Do not use dark beer!

Ingredients

10 lbs Alaskan king crab legs (thawed)
2436 Cans of any kind of beer (enough to fill the entire pot)
 3 lbs Butter
 Old bay seasoning

Directions

1

Insert colander into pot, add beer to about three-quarters full so that it doesn't overflow.

2

Boil beer and then drop the butter and plenty of Old Bay into the pot.

3

Add the crab legs. Cook until done. You will know because they change colors. You can pull one out to test to see if they are done.
