Ingredients

1 Large bottle of red wine, 1.5 liters (I use Barefoot Merlot)
1 Lemon cut up into slices
 1 Orange cut into slices
 1 Lime cut into slices
1 cup Raspberries or strawberries (frozen okay)
1 Small can of sliced pineapple with juice
 1 Apple sliced
 1 cup Fresh cherries
 2 tbsp Sugar
1 Splash of orange juice or lemonade
 Small can frozen lemonade
 2 Shots of triple sec
 4 cups Ginger ale

Directions

1

Pour wine into a large pitcher and add all fruit but strawberries and cherries. Sugar, orange juice or lemonade, ginger ale and triple sec will be added the next day.

2

Pour wine into a large pitcher and add all fruit but strawberries and cherries. Sugar, orange juice or lemonade, ginger ale and triple sec will be added the next day.

3

Strain fruit from wine mixture and then return liquid to pitcher.

4

Discard all fruit except for the pineapple slices.

5

Place the pineapples flat in a Ziploc bag and freeze till right before serving.

6

When it’s time to serve, add fresh strawberries, cherries, pineapple slices, ginger ale and one can of frozen lemonade or orange juice and ice.

7

If you’d like to serve right away, use chilled red wine and serve over lots of ice. Remember, though, that the best Sangria is chilled for 24 hours in the fridge. If you don’t have room in the refrigerator, you can always put the pitcher in a bucket of lots of ice overnight.
