Pasta with Ricotta and Spinach

Ingredients

 1 lb of your favorite pasta (I use penne rigate)
 Your favorite marinara sauce
 1 box frozen chopped spinach or 12 ounces of fresh spinach.
 1 clove garlic
 3 tbsp ricotta

Directions

Cook pasta according to directions.

Boil frozen spinach and drain, squeezing out all water using a clean dish towel or saute fresh spinach.

Remove from pot or pan

Heat a tablespoon of olive oil and one clove of smashed garlic in the same pot or pan that you cooked the spinach in.

Add spinach back to pot or pan and saute for a few minutes.

Drain pasta.

Drop ricotta over pasta and stir well.

Then add spinach and stir.

Then add marinara sauce and toss
